SureFire Releases Rechargeable LFP 123A Batteries SF2R-CB and Charger Kit SF2R-KIT01

SureFire has added a rechargeable battery kit to their product line up, although they’re actually made by K2 Energy (K2Battery.com). Finally, an “officially supported” rechargeable solution for CR123A batteries for use with SureFire products. These batteries are meant for use with SureFire’s LED lights, and should provide the same maximum output levels on most models, albeit with half the run time compared to disposable lithium CR123A batteries.

A pair of LFP 123A batteries are listed with an MSRP of $12, while the charger kit goes for $29. Unsurprisingly, there are already clones appearing on eBay.
